Same-Image Team Changes
There are seven images in the set that during the printing of their respective group were updated to reflect a team change. Each card had the team designation in the caption changed, and those with team insignias were updated -- or in the case of O'Hara, removed and not replaced.
Both examples of each image were produced during a single print group. For example, Dahlen (Brooklyn) can be found only with 350 Series backs but was not part of print group 2 (350 Only.) Dahlen (Boston) was printed during the early runs of print group 1 (150-350) and Dahlen (Brooklyn) in the later runs of print group 1.
Different-Image Team Changes
There are six subjects in the set that were updated to reflect a team change but with different images than the first. The new image of each of the subjects was printed in a different print group than the first.
The two images of Carl Lundgren look almost identical, however, close inspection shows that they are different artist renderings of the same original image.
